The Male to Female Swivel Antifreeze Valve is designed to help protect heat pump systems and compatible water-based heating circuits from freezing during cold weather conditions.
When the water temperature within the system approaches freezing conditions, the temperature-sensitive valve automatically opens and discharges system water. This helps reduce the risk of ice formation inside exposed pipework and associated heating components.
Manufactured with a durable brass body, the valve incorporates a male threaded connection on one side and a female swivel connection on the other. The swivel connection provides additional installation flexibility and helps simplify connection to compatible pipework and system components.
The automatic mechanical operation requires no electrical power or manual activation during normal freeze-protection operation, making the valve a practical safety component for external heat pump pipework.
Available in 1" and 1 1/4" connection sizes, allowing the correct valve to be selected for compatible heating system installations.
