Product Options
The Bastion 28mm Heatguard is a premium high-flow thermostatic mixing valve designed specifically for water-based underfloor heating systems. It provides accurate temperature control by blending hotter water from the heating source with cooler return water from the underfloor heating circuit.
The valve is adjustable between 35-65 degrees C, allowing the required mixed flow temperature to be selected according to the underfloor heating system, floor construction and building requirements. Water-based underfloor heating systems commonly operate at lower flow temperatures than conventional radiator systems, making reliable temperature regulation an important part of the installation.
Designed for high-flow applications, the Heatguard offers rapid response to changes in incoming water temperature and helps maintain stable temperature control throughout the heating circuit. It is suitable for underfloor heating systems covering up to approximately 300 sqm and systems rated up to 14kW.
The valve features three 28mm compression connections for straightforward connection to compatible pipework. With a maximum working pressure of 10 bar and a maximum permitted temperature of 85 degrees C, it provides a robust solution for professional underfloor heating installations, upgrades and replacement work.
