The Altecnic anti-scald device is used to cut off the flow of water when the temperature exceeds the cut off temperature of 48°C. Designed for use in domestic hot water systems, the anti-scald device should be installed adjacent to the water outlet to prevent the user being scalded. Supplied with a parallel threaded end complying with BS EN ISO 228-1
