Ideal Boilers Instinct range  provide weather compensation when fitted with an outdoor sensor making the install Boiler Plus complaint. This optional accessory measures the temperature outside the home and adjusts the temperature (or flow) of the radiators inside. If the weather is particularly cold outside, the outdoor sensor will communicate with the boiler intelligently to increase the radiator temperature. This process also works in reverse, as the outdoor temperature increases, the flow to the radiators will decrease. This allows the system to operate more efficiently by only heating to the minimum temperature necessary and also preventing spikes in heating activity.
